WHAT WE DO

Military Funeral Honors

It is our honor and duty to pay final respects to military personnel of all branches who have served our country honorably. Our services include a 21-gun volley and playing of TAPS. We also often request an opportunity to perform a "Pass and Review" in which we take a moment to pay our final respects to our deceased brother or sister with a final salute while our bugler performs "Battle Hymn of the Republic/Glory Hallelujah."

Flag-Raising Ceremonies

When requested, we honor our nation's flag by hoisting it in conjuction with the playing of "To The Colors", followed by our National Anthem.

Scholarship Program

Each spring, Houma-Terrebonne MCL475 awards scholarships to students choosing to further their education university, community college, technical college, or trade school. These scholarships are awarded to students whose immediate family member served and was honorably discharged from any branch of the United States Military.

Supporting Our Community

Throughout the year, we are privileged to support and participate in events and fundraisers hosted by various other organizations.
