Toys for Tots

MCL475 is a proud participant in the Toys for Tots drive. Each November and December, members of MCL475, PNP Normal A Liner Auxiliary Unit, and numerous other volunteers give hours of their time each week to collect and organize toys so that underprivileged children in Terrebonne Parish can wake up to toys under their tree.

Each year, Houma Terrebonne Toys for Tots disperses boxes to dozens of businesses across Terrebonne Parish, as well as holds multiple events for both collecting and dispersing toys. Follow Houma Terrebonne Toys for Tots on facebook for frequent updates on these events and locations during collection season.

About Toys for Tots: Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity is the fundraising, funding and support organization for the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.  The Foundation was created at the behest of the U. S. Marine Corps and provides support in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commander, Marine Forces Reserve, who directs the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.  The Foundation has supported Toys for Tots since 1991.
